Adding Listing Item Attributes to the Import File
Below are the rules and guidelines for adding listing item attributes for weight and dimensions:

  1. Item Dimensions

    • Specify item dimensions such as length, width, and height with one of the following units: in, ft, mm, cm, m.

    • Ensure all item dimensions are specified with the same unit. For example: width: 12cm, height: 7cm, length: 2cm.

  2. Item Weight

    • Specify the item weight with one of the following units: oz, lb, g, kg.

    • The values must be specified as an integer, with no decimals allowed. For example, 2.5cm is invalid.

Troubleshooting

Please note the following known issue.

  • There is a known issue where item attributes such as weight and dimensions added via the Etsy API do not appear on the listing edit page on Etsy.

  • Etsy support has informed us that these values are being added via the API, and they have assured us that work is being scheduled by Etsy to fix this known issue.

  • You can verify that this data has been added by using the Etsy listing export tool provided by SKUpid.
